The Problem

IFS (Indian Foreign Service) officers needed quick, accurate answers to diplomatic queries, but existing tools returned general web results that couldn't be trusted for official use. Officers were spending significant time manually verifying information against government circulars, MEA policies, and official documents — a bottleneck in a high-stakes environment where accuracy has real-world consequences.

The Solution

We built Meghdoot, a RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipeline that ingests only verified government sources into a vector database. Every query retrieves the most relevant document chunks from this curated knowledge base and passes them as context to GPT-4, which synthesizes a verifiable answer with citations. No external internet access, no hallucination from training data — only government-verified information. Access is role-based to match clearance levels.
